Not much movement with the Holiday last week but, we managed to finish the footings in the basement, remove the hardwood floors where the kitchen will be and fix a few ancient pipes made of clay.  We also managed to start sound proofing some areas in the ceiling, which is going to make the residents above us much happier!  Picked out wood finishes and finalized some key elements in the lighting.
