Measure twice, cut once.
Construction Progress| February 9th, 2008Today we spent some time going over areas of the construction drawings and measuring to confirm their accuracy. At this stage in the pre-construction process, everyone is concerned with not running into big fabrication problems as a result of being off by an inch or two. There are so many areas to look at and if time is money, then we are making sure that there are no hidden surprises. I know that it is inevitable that issues will come up, but we are trying to minimize the issues.

Posted some of the pre construction pictures today. I plan to post the more photos as progress is made. The “Squares” Photo was the artwork of French artist Georges Rousse.
Wish we could keep it……… but we will always have this photo.
CHeck out the web site for the Durham Project by Georges. http://www.rousseprojectdurham.com/
